Meet

Jaisy Gutierrez, LCSW

Hi, I’m Jaisy — a therapist, a mother, a wife, a believer in resilience, and the heart behind Journey2Healing. My path into this work didn’t start in a classroom or a training. It started in my home, in my childhood, long before I had the language for mental health, trauma, or healing.

I grew up in a family shaped by hardship, faith, strength, and transformation. My mother overcame early life adversity with remarkable strength and became a pillar of courage. My father’s journey of recovery and renewal taught me that change is possible at any moment. Their journeys taught me that healing is real, that change is possible, and that the stories we carry — even the hard ones — can lead us to our purpose. Those early experiences planted a seed in me: a desire to understand emotions, to break cycles, and to help others feel safe, seen, and supported.

That seed eventually grew into Journey2Healing.

I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and built my practice around the things I believe in most: connection, compassion, creativity, and clinically grounded care. I specialize in working with children, teens, adults, and families through play therapy, trauma-informed care, expressive arts, psychodrama, sand tray therapy, and infant mental health. My passion for early relationships led me to become trained in FirstPlay® Infant Massage & Play — a specialty close to my heart because I know how much those early moments matter.

I’m also a mom of three, part of a blended family, and a proud dog mom to Oreo. These parts of my life keep me grounded and remind me daily of the importance of nurturing, patience, humor, and love.

While I welcome clients of all backgrounds and beliefs, I also offer faith-integrated support for those who request it. My goal is never to direct or persuade, but to honor the spiritual values that are meaningful to you and incorporate them gently into the healing process when it feels helpful.

Journey2Healing isn’t just a practice — it’s a reflection of my life, my values, and my belief that healing truly is a journey. My hope is that when you visit my office or meet with me online, you feel safe, supported, and welcomed exactly as you are. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, postpartum challenges, parenting struggles, relational stress, or the uncertainty that comes with life transitions and seasons of change, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we move at your pace — one step, one moment, and one chapter at a time. Thank you for being here. It’s an honor to be part of your healing journey.
